1. Our 7-Day Inspection Period (Used Items – Bags & Cameras)
Because SPOX specializes in pre-owned/vintage bags and cameras, all sales are subject to a strict 7-day inspection period starting the day your package is delivered (confirmed by UPS/USPS/FedEx tracking). You are NOT entitled to a refund simply for changing your mind, buyer’s remorse, or finding a lower price elsewhere. A return is only accepted if the item arrives in a materially different condition than described in the listing (e.g., undisclosed large tear, non-functional camera, missing battery door, broken strap mount). Minor signs of wear (light scratches, patina, dust inside a bag, worn zipper teeth) that were shown or noted in the product photos/description are NOT eligible for return.

2. How to Request a Return
Contact us at Contact@spox.store within 7 days of delivery with your order number, clear photos/videos of the issue, and the subject line: “RETURN REQUEST – [Order Number]”. Our support team (available 7 days a week, 8am–11:30pm) will respond within 2 hours on average. Unauthorized returns sent back without prior approval will be refused and sent back to you at your own cost.

3. Condition for Return Approval
If your return is approved, you must ship the item back within 5 business days. The item MUST be in the exact same condition as when you received it – do not attempt to clean, repair, modify, or use the bag/camera further. Cameras must have all original accessories (lens cap, strap, battery, charger if included). Bags must include any detachable straps or dust bags originally sent. Items that show new damage, smoke odor, pet hair, or excessive handling after delivery will be rejected and returned to you without a refund.

4. Refund Process (Once Approved)
After we receive and inspect your return (typically 1-2 business days), we will issue a refund to your original payment method minus the following:

  • Original outbound shipping cost (even if you received free Standard Shipping, we will deduct our actual shipping cost of $6.95-$14.95 from your refund).

  • A 15% restocking fee to cover inspection, repackaging, and condition verification.

  • Return shipping cost is paid by the buyer unless SPOX made a verified error (wrong item sent, undisclosed major damage).

Refunds will appear in your bank/card within 3-10 business days depending on your payment provider. We do NOT offer exchanges due to limited inventory of used items.

5. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
No returns or refunds for: items marked “As-Is / For Parts / Not Working”, items sold during flash sales or with promo codes exceeding 20% off, personalized/modified bags (added pins, paint), cameras with exposed film inside, items damaged by water, drops, or improper battery storage. Any return shipment lost in transit is your responsibility – we strongly recommend buying shipping insurance.

6. Wrong Address / Unclaimed Packages
You are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to pick up from UPS/USPS/FedEx within the hold period, you will be charged a $12 re-shipping fee. If you do not respond within 14 days, the order will be considered donated with no refund.

7. Shipping Damage (Immediate Action Required)
If your bag or camera arrives damaged from shipping, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the box, packing materials, and the damage. We will file a claim with UPS/USPS/FedEx on your behalf. Do not throw away the original box. Refunds for shipping damage are only issued after the carrier approves the claim.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes
By placing an order on SPOX, you agree to contact us first at Contact@spox.store before filing any chargeback or PayPal dispute. If you file a dispute without attempting a return per this policy, we will provide your payment processor with this policy plus the original tracking showing “Delivered”, resulting in an automatic denial of your dispute.

9. European Union / International Customers
For orders shipped outside the USA: Customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable. If you refuse delivery to avoid return shipping costs, you will forfeit the entire refund (including the item value). SPOX does not provide return labels for international orders – you must arrange and pay for return shipping to 3948 Milgray Lane, Johns Island SC 29455, USA.

10. Customer Support Commitment
We are real people in South Carolina. Our support is open 7 days a week, 8am – 11:30pm. Average answer time is 2 hours. If you believe your used bag or camera truly qualifies for a return, email Contact@spox.store with your order number and clear evidence. We are reasonable but strict – this policy protects both you and SPOX from abuse.
