1. Processing & Handling Time
At SPOX, we take pride in fast handling because we know you are excited to receive your vintage bag or used camera. All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and major US holidays) from the moment you receive your order confirmation email. Business days are Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 5pm EST or on Saturday/Sunday will begin processing on the next business day. Handling includes: verifying the condition of the used item, careful packaging (bubble wrap for cameras, dust bags for leather goods), and generating your shipping label. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is handed off to the carrier.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
SPOX offers two shipping options for customers worldwide. All orders ship from our warehouse at 3948 Milgray Lane, Johns Island, South Carolina 29455, United States.

  • Standard Shipping (Free): Delivery typically takes 1-3 business days after handling is complete. This is our free, no-rush option. Carriers used may include UPS Ground, USPS Priority, or FedEx Home Delivery depending on your location and package weight. Free shipping applies to all orders regardless of order value – no minimum purchase required. Delivery estimate example: order placed Monday morning, handled by Tuesday, delivered Wednesday to Friday.

  • Fast Shipping (UPS/USPS/FedEx Express): Available at checkout for an additional fee calculated by weight/destination. Delivery typically takes 1-2 business days after handling. This includes UPS Next Day Air, USPS Priority Express, or FedEx Standard Overnight. Fast Shipping is recommended for time-sensitive purchases (e.g., a camera for an upcoming trip) or high-value items where you want reduced transit time.

Important: Delivery times are estimates provided by carriers, not guarantees. SPOX does not refund shipping costs or accept returns due to carrier delays (e.g., weather, holiday volume, mis-sorted packages). During peak seasons (November–January), please add 1-2 extra business days.

3. Shipping Worldwide (International Orders)
Yes – SPOX ships worldwide! No matter which country you are ordering from, we will ship your used bag or camera via UPS Worldwide, USPS International, or FedEx International. However, please be aware of the following:

  • Customs, duties, and taxes: You are responsible for any import fees, VAT, GST, or brokerage charges imposed by your country. SPOX does not collect these at checkout, and we cannot predict what your local customs office will charge. Refusal to pay customs fees resulting in package abandonment or return will forfeit your entire order (no refund per our Return & Refund Policy, Section 9).

  • International delivery times: Typically 5-12 business days for Standard Worldwide Shipping; 2-4 business days for Fast Worldwide Shipping (Express).

  • Prohibited countries: SPOX currently does not ship to North Korea, Iran, Syria, Crimea, or any other destination restricted by US export laws. If you place an order from a restricted country, we will cancel and refund you minus a $5 processing fee.

  • Customs declarations: We declare the exact value you paid on the customs form. We will not mark items as "gift" or declare a lower value – this is mail fraud and SPOX does not violate federal law.

4. Order Tracking & Notifications
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an automated email from Contact@spox.store containing:

  • Carrier name (UPS, USPS, or FedEx)

  • Tracking number

  • Direct link to the carrier's tracking portal
    You can also log into your Shopify account (if you created one) to view live tracking. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after we hand off your package. If you have not received a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order, please email us at Contact@spox.store – we typically respond within 2 hours.

5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
SPOX is not responsible for packages that are marked "Delivered" by the carrier but are later lost or stolen from your porch, mailbox, or building lobby. We recommend: shipping to a secure address (work, locker, or signature-required address). However, we will help you file a claim with UPS/USPS/FedEx if:

  • Tracking shows "Delivered" but you did not receive it within 48 hours – contact us immediately.

  • Tracking shows no movement for 7+ business days (domestic) or 14+ business days (international).
    For lost packages where the carrier admits fault, we will either refund you (after carrier pays SPOX) or send a replacement item if available (rare for one-of-a-kind used bags/cameras). For stolen packages after delivery, SPOX does not provide refunds – please file a police report and contact your renter's/homeowner's insurance.

6. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address
You are 100% responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Before finalizing your order, double-check: street number, street name, apartment/unit number, city, state/province, postal code, and country. If a package is returned to SPOX due to:

  • Wrong address (e.g., missing apartment number)

  • Insufficient address (e.g., no street name)

  • Refusal to accept delivery

  • Unclaimed after carrier's hold period (typically 5-7 days)
    …then you will be charged a $12 re-shipping fee plus any additional postage if rates have changed. If you do not respond to our email (Contact@spox.store) within 14 days of the package being returned, the order will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.

7. Shipping Insurance (Recommended for High-Value Items)
At checkout, you may add Route Package Protection or third-party shipping insurance for an extra fee (usually 1-2% of order value). This insurance covers: lost packages, stolen packages (after delivery), and damage in transit. Without insurance, SPOX's liability ends once the carrier confirms delivery. For used cameras worth over $300 or designer bags over $200, we strongly recommend purchasing insurance. If you decline insurance and your package is lost or stolen, SPOX will not issue a refund or replacement.

8. Signature Requirement
For orders with a total value of **$500 or more**, SPOX will automatically add "Signature Required" to your shipment at no extra cost to you. This ensures that the carrier (UPS/USPS/FedEx) will only hand the package to a person at your address, not leave it unattended. If you are not home, the carrier will leave a notice. You are responsible for picking up the package from the local depot or rescheduling delivery within the carrier's time window (usually 5-7 days). If the package is returned to us due to missed signature attempts, the $12 re-shipping fee applies.

9. Combined Shipping & Multiple Items
If you purchase multiple used bags or cameras from SPOX in separate orders within a 24-hour period, please email us at Contact@spox.store with both order numbers. We will attempt to combine them into one package and refund any duplicate shipping charges (Fast Shipping fees only – free shipping orders cannot be refunded). Combined shipping is not guaranteed if items are located in different warehouse bins or one order has already been handed to the carrier.

10. PO Boxes & APO/FPO Addresses
SPOX ships to PO boxes within the United States using USPS only (UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to PO boxes). If you provide a PO box address and select UPS/FedEx Fast Shipping, we will automatically downgrade your shipment to USPS Priority and refund the difference in shipping cost. For APO/FPO military addresses, we ship via USPS Priority Mail – delivery typically takes 10-20 business days. Please note that tracking updates may stop after the package leaves the US distribution center.

11. Local Pickup (Not Available)
SPOX does not offer local pickup at 3948 Milgray Lane, Johns Island, South Carolina. Our warehouse is not a retail storefront. All orders must be shipped. Any customer who arrives at our address will not be allowed to collect their order – this policy protects both your safety and our inventory security.

12. Holiday & Extreme Weather Delays
SPOX observes the following US holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. On these days, our warehouse is closed – no handling or shipping occurs. Additionally, extreme weather (hurricanes in South Carolina, blizzards, floods) may delay carrier pickups. We will post a banner on spox.store and email affected customers if a major delay is expected. No refunds or credits are given for weather-related delays.
